We purchased this mixer last year before Thanksgiving. We got a wonderful deal on it, and decided to purchase it although I'm not a professional in the kitchen! I've ended up using it more that I could have imagined! We did have the mixer start making a knocking noise once, and contacted Kitchenaid. Even when we could get the noise again, the service representative quickly stated that is not acceptable and shipped out a replacement. It was by far the BEST service I have ever received! I am extremely happy with the product and the company's service.
